Halton Region’s Upcoming Festivals and Celebrations

Halton’s Extreme Race and Obstacle SeriesBrides and grooms who’ve set the Halton Region as the location for their destination wedding have a lot to expect, given the region’s range of upcoming festivals, events and celebrations.

While tying the knot in the midst of an ongoing festival may not exactly be easy to arrange or schedule, there’s really no reason why couples can’t celebrate their union by taking part in any of Halton’s exciting and unique events.

The Halton’s Extreme Race and Obstacle Series – also known as HEROS – would be one interesting Halton Region event, sure to excite racing fans of all ages. Halton’s Corn Harvest Festival is also known to yield to unique experiences, one which may not exactly come as a huge come on for romantics, but it, just as well, is unique in its own being, all in all.

Halton’s American Civil War Re-enactment is also standout as one of the region’s more well known events, drawing a huge following from all over year in and year out. Organized sporting events like the women’s triathlons are also known to take place in the region, just as it is also known for its range of children’s festivals and celebrations.

Halton Region is also home to what is known as the largest Ribfest in Canada, sure to draw the fancies of gourmets and gourmands.

With its sprawling outdoors and annual and seasonally held events, there’s no reason why newlyweds won’t be able to find unique, interesting and memorable activities in setting the Halton Region as their destination wedding’s location.
