Nash, the actress, comedian and former host of Clean House will have her wedding to fiance Jay Tucker documented for a TLC special as it was announced Monday.

Nash says she is not used to having all of the attention especially when it comes to her private life. “I am not excited about that part,” the 40 year-old bride-to-be said on an interview by TVGuide.com. “I wanted my fans and I wanted women to understand that you can get a second chance at everything.”

The special will be aired just days after the weekend ceremony of Nash’s Memorial Day. It will show every bits of the wedding from picking the right dress, venue and the wedding ceremony itself. She has barely four months before the wedding and with the cameras on set, is Neicy going to turn into a stressful bride?

“I do not have a bride gene. I haven’t been planning a wedding since I was 3. I never put a sheet on my head and pretended that it was a veil.” she said on her interview.

Nash will have her mother’s hand for the wedding as well as that of her wedding planner’s and the bridesmaids’ which include Sherri Shepherd and Sheryl Lee Ralph. “When I got married in 1991, I had never been to a wedding so I didn’t know that my wedding was tacky. I didn’t know that I was getting married in a quinceanera dress because there was nobody there to cry over me and tell me I look like a fool.” she added.

Celebrity weddings, which were all gooey and sweet at first but eventually turned into sour ends, have been featured in different television specials, the most famous example of which is that of Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey and Britney Spears and Kevin Featherline. Nash is not worried about it though and he describes his future husband as “very supportive”.

The fairy tale like story of an ordinary girl marrying her prince is one that strikes a chord to romantics the world over. When the engagement was announced, all eyes focused on the engagement ring worn by the soon to be Royal Bride.

Many immediately recognized it as it is the same Royal Engagement Ring that Princess Diana wore during her own engagement to Prince Charles. Indeed, Christmas always manages to add a dose of magic and romance to any wedding. Whether you’re celebrating the holiday and you’re wedding as one, or just want to hold your special event on the month of December, here are a few tips to get you started on your wedding theme.

• With your invites, go for an all-white theme. Aside from being very dainty, white is associated with the season—snowflakes, snow covered trees, bells, berries, sleighs and stars can be incorporated into your invites.

• When selecting your white wedding dress, you can try lining it with white fur (faux) to give off that cold and wintery feel. Instead of a veil, why not use a nice cape?

• Your groom and his groomsmen can be dressed in all-white attire to match the overall Christmas theme of your wedding. For you and your bridesmaids, you can consult with your make-up artist to get that icy, yet dainty look. Numerous magazines will have pointers on how to do this, so don’t worry if you have to DIY.

• Bouquets can have white tulips, with leaves sprinkled with a bit of silver dust. Roses are also great, as they give off the warmth and joy of the season.

As you can see, there are plenty of ways for you to play around with the Christmas theme. Use your imagination and don’t be afraid to experiment!
